The giant eyeball
A man walking the beach at Pompano Beach, Florida came across this giant eyeball which was washed up on the shore, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission put the eyeball on ice so it can be analysed as at the moment no one knows what species the giant eyeball comes from. An agency spokeswoman said that possible candidates include a giant squid, a whale or some type of unusual large fish.
There are some weird and wonderful species out there in our oceans, one of the most curious is the Sunfish, they sometimes come to the surface to warm their bodies from the sun, hence the name, they feed at deep levels where the water temperature is much colder. Also known as the Mola Mola the giant creatures feed primarily on jellyfish.
